This show follows the stone age family "The Flintstones" and their friends the Rubble family. The Flintstones was an Hanna-Barbera Production that originally aired on ABC-TV in prime time from 1960-1966. It was network television's first animated series to which there were 166 original episodes.

Taken from an album of songs recorded in 1961 by the cast members, composed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the song "Meet the Flintstones" was adopted as the theme tune for the show starting from series 3.
