Gerry Anderson is most famous for his children's puppet shows, using a technique called Supermarionation (super marionette animation), a form of puppetry.
He is best known for his science fiction series, such as Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet.
Most of his shows were made under the banner of his production company, AP Films (later renamed to Century 21 Productions).
