Moomin
Moomin was a cartoon based upon the books by Finnish writer Tove Jansson, it is one of many adaptations of the Moomin story. The series itself was originally a collaboration between Finland and Japan, but was also re-dubbed in English and shown on CBBC in the UK between 1990 and 1992. In all, 104 episodes were shown over two series. This particular series is regarded as the one which made Moomin a household name.
Moomin tells the story of the trolls who lived together in Moomin Valley. Although the series centres around the main character 'Moomin', there are many other characters and each episode contains an exciting adventure for them.
