Morph

Morph, an animated claymation figure, was originally part of the Tony Hart art programmes, but he was so popular he was given his own show in 1980, The Amazing Adventures of Morph.
He first appeared on Take Hart in 1978 and was created by Dave Sproxton and Peter Lord who went on to form Aardman Animations.
